Sign Up for DFI's Queer Affirming Course (FREE for Students!)

Denver Family Institute (DFI) invites you to our upcoming live course, the "Queer Adjusted Systemic Lens," which provides youth-serving professionals with methods to become more queer-affirming and gender-affirming in their work with queer youth and their families. (Our instructor, August Tousignant-Stanton, LCSW, LMFT, will be presenting their model at MSU Denver's upcoming Mental and Behavioral Health Conference in February!)

The course contains 3 hours of asynchronous video, plus a live Zoom class on Friday, February 13th from 1:00 - 4:30 PM MST. (A recording will be made available shortly thereafter.) Participants can earn up to 6 CEs upon completion of the course.

To help grow the number of queer-affirming and gender-affirming professionals, DFI is offering this course for ***FREE to any person with a valid school email address!*** Here are some testimonials from previous participants of the course:

"It tied together so many fragmented pieces, while creating the right amount of space for practice." - Ayla

"The case example videos were so helpful. I really liked the attention given to supporting others in the family as well - I think a lot of clinicians miss that part and it's so important." - Jen

"[The slides] helped me understand how the model is structured and they feel like useful tools to keep and jog my imagination when I get stuck with clients." - Jasmine
